As of yesterday, we have THREE WALKERS! Brody has been doing great without his cast, but on his own he was only taking one or two steps. Before I had to take him to his final doctors appointment for his leg yesterday, he took six steps and the rest is history!
We are in SO much trouble! They are so much fun to watch walking around everywhere, and I love it but I can’t say I’m not nervous. This opens up a whole new chapter of figuring everything out! I’ve said it so many times but it’s still so true. As soon as you get it all figured out, everything changes.
At Brody’s appointment, they took an X-Ray and it looks like he never even broke his leg. I am so grateful that it healed so well and we shouldn’t have any further problems. That, along with him walking, made me feel massive amounts of relief. Brookie, she’s all over the place now. She thinks she’s an adult and tries to walk at a normal pace.
Brayden is really getting the hang of it. He will catch up to his sister any day now. We’ve also mastered walking in shoes. They are so cute to watch walking around the house in their shoes trying to make sure they lift their feet high enough.
We’ve been out a few places where they’ve roamed free and we also let them run around the back yard. They’re definitely getting braver every time they’re out there. The one good thing that I’m noticing, is they aren’t all going separate directions. It looks like, at least for now, they are following the leader.
We are going to teach them to stand at a certain part of the car so that when we’re loading, they are always in touching distance. I also need to make sure we get them used to holding hands. It’s a scary thought, going out in public when you are completely outnumbered.
Just like everything else, we will take it day by day and come up with a system that works for us. It’s amazing to see them hitting these new milestones. It’s also amazing to see Brody finally coming out of the other end of this speed bump.
I hope that everyone has a great weekend! I will be chasing these little ones around everywhere!!
I taught Rowan to put his hand right above my back tire while I try to get everything squared away before I load him. I just say hand on your tire and goes right to it and stays! Ps. Love your blog!!

Get someone that makes magnets. Make in a circle big enough to put hand prints. Have each child make own hand print of different color on magnet after it dries can put on car so have to keep their hand on own hand print. And portable from car to car! Works well plus craft day haha
